A taste of House Assemblies

Approximately once a month, students from each house group (Shephard, Tekanawa, Hillary and Rutherford) in class Years 5-8 gather for fun and games, and a chance to earn house points. Here are some photos of one in progess, about two weeks ago...

Westburn Houses

As most of you would know Westburn School has 4 Houses: Sheppard, Hillary, Rutherford and Te Kanawa. At Westburn every child is given a House to be in for the rest of their time at Westburn. These four people are some of New Zealand's most famous icons. Photo number 1 is a mural on the back of Room 16, number two and three are their pictures and number four is our Westburn House Leaders who are given leadership opportunities to lead their quarter of the school.
